Gene detection techniques listed in the "new health technology huimin engineering", its overall goal is to "support with the core technology, innovation and related qualification institution, take the network layout, take the lead in building 30 genetic testing technology application demonstration center, focusing on genetic screening for genetic disorders and birth defects, promote genetic testing and other advanced health technology popularization huimin, lead the major innovations of industrialization".

The annual implementation priorities and work requirements from 2015 to 2017 are as follows:

In 2015, we will focus on "one step at a time" -- launch the first batch of pilot projects to build demonstration centers for the application of genetic testing technology in about 10 provinces and cities

At present relatively mature hereditary deafness and hereditary diseases such as down's syndrome genetic screening, priority support of local government have relevant policy measures and operation mode, the construction conditions of the demonstration center construction, promote the genetic testing technology in genetic disease, tumor, cardiovascular disease, and the application of the infectious diseases prevention and control of major diseases such as promoting health benefiting the people.

In 2016, we will focus on "two steps" -- implement the construction of the second batch of demonstration centers for the application and promotion of genetic testing technology

We will continue to optimize the construction of demonstration centers in about 10 provinces and cities, and rapidly promote the application of genetic testing technology in the mass screening of hereditary diseases.

Relying on the application demonstration center of tomb cause detection technology with the qualification of individualized medical detection, we will develop new disease gene detection technology, and explore the industrial application of gene detection technology in new fields such as personal genome detection and gene identity card.

In 2017, we will focus on "three steps" -- continue to build the third batch of demonstration centers for the application and promotion of genetic testing technology, and promote the application of research and development of genetic testing instruments and reagents

We will guide the key enterprises of tomb cause detection equipment and reagents, and promote the industrial application of genetic testing equipment and reagents with independent intellectual property rights in China through the upstream and downstream linkage and cooperation, so as to enhance the competitiveness of the genetic testing industry in China.
